Hi y'all, I must chime in here and say that I'm still suffering from that side effect! BUT, since I've begun exercising or walking daily(like Danielle suggested), I suffer much less than before! So I do believe that moving/exercising is the key to overcoming this one. I've tried the pills and potions sold over the counter for excess flatulence but found little or no relief. If anyone has any other suggestions on how to get rid of this "problem" I'd love to hear them! I thought with my quit that the excessive gas might have something to do with the amount of carbohydrates I was consuming. I couldn't stop eating at the start and let me tell you it wasn't healthy food....chocolate, chips, pizza...you name it. Also of course anytime I cooked a stirfry with onions it was 10 times worse!! Now that I'm sticking to a lower carb diet I don't have that problem hardly at all, just a thought if anyone else is binging on the "good" stuff. man! I just went back and read that "excessive gas" thread and they deleted all the good stuff. Oh well, there's still a lot of good information in that thread... but just not as funny as it used to be. Crave the Quit!
