Hello FreshAir and Welcome! I think we all know that feeling of how can I get through it without my bud, we do though. Tip the scale in your favor and tell yourself that it may not be easy however I KNOW THAT I CAN DO THIS. I really want to do this, I need to do this and I AM GOING TO DO THIS. End the discussion with Nic or at least tell him to bug off. Write down your personal reasonings for quiting, like I want to be around for my kids, wife, husband, friends. I want to feel better and I don't like having Nic have a hold on me. I want my freedom back, it costs to much.....Your support group is in place however we need you to do the doing so stick with us. You know it can be done because you did it once before for six years. I think you are ready to do this so...be positive, no I thinks, only yes I cans. I agree with Phil all the way. Nothing new though, we are best mates. Anyway, try words like happy and don't smoke. You can make it as hard as you like. Welcome Fresh Air & Bean! Please start working through our online quit program and read through our forums. Both are great ressources that can teach you what you need to know about quitting. Our program will also help you put together a plan to attack cravings. Keep us posted. Danielle _____________________ The SSC Support Team

I am only at 22 days and I gotta tell ya...if you feel great your quit will feel great! Try to read some positive threads about how to turn a crave around or how to think positive. "I wish I knew how to attach them for you). If I didn't work (really hard) on my attitude I would not be here posting today.
