it's been said the first three days are the worst....the cravings supposedly peak on day three....but when you're going through it, it's hard to see.....I just remember the first couple of weeks were a "*****".....and I was using patches......after that things began to slowly be a bit easier.
stay busy....remember the tactics....distract, delay and then reward yourself.....repeat over and over. Try to think of yourself as gaining power....after all, as long as you don't smoke it means that YOU are the one in control. The addiction is gonna scream and insist on a fix....you just have to hang on and keep saying no.
If at any point you give ground, you only give up power to the addiction. and if it gets ANY...it will scream louder for MORE. so keep on denying it. The only route to success is THROUGH this....and it WILL end.
hang tough....you will never be sorry
