talk to the demon that gets on your shoulder when you get in the car. Imagine yourself grabbing him and tossing him out the window. Talk about how YOU are in control....oh yeah, I realise it doesn't FEEL like control, but believe me, as long as you continue to toss him out the window and do what the quitting in you wants, then YOU are in control.....and that's what it's about. no more slipping now, cause ever single time you give that demon a fix, he thinks if he persists long enough and loud enough you will give him ANOTHER one! Kick butt and say NO MORE! you CAN do it.....and each time you win you get stronger!! Tennielle, Whatever works do it! Start by cleaning out you entire car and I mean scrub! Put a freshener in and see the difference. Get yourself a great CD or make your own and use your favorite songs to keep you occupied! Use a chew stick for that hand and mouth association or another coping mechanism. Take it route by route. You can do this :) Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
