Hello and Welcome Ladycig.. This is an amazing place to be! The members here are incredibly supportive, wise and compassionate :) This is my 3rd attempt. I quit at noon today and I've been welcomed back with open arms. Sounds like you are putting all of your tools well into place as you head towards your quit date. Did you check out the "Quit Program Tools" to your left of this page <<<< ? I wish you all the best hon.. and we're all here to help you. Post often and read through as many of the threads as you can. ((((((((((((hugs))))))))) Monica58
The mind is the limit. Welcome ladycigevictor - This is a place that will teach you so much... Spend time reading old posts and read more and when you have an extra few minutes, yes, read some more. I quit - first attempt, cold turkey, and those who went before me shared their stories, their coping skills that worked (and some that didn't) and I just found my way due to their grace and generosity... So my advice: IF your desire to quit is stronger than your desire to light up - you are ready for your forever quit, friend. Don't attempt it - do it! One moment at a time, we are all doing it. Stay close, post often and... r e a d ... :) Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 313 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,987 Amount Saved: $1455.45 Life Gained: Days: 41 Hrs: 1 Mins: 18 Seconds: 33
