Hello, I am 28 years old, and I have been smoke free for 24 hours. I am using the patch, and so far am doing ok. My husband has been smoke free for 5 days. I have tried to quit cold turkey many times without success, this time I am ready to quit. I am tired of smelling like an ashtray and my daughter asks me everyday to stop smoking, this time I will. I'm just here for some support from people going through the same thing I am. Thanks in advance.

Good luck angelcapp! I'll keep you in my prayers for your 1st smoke free day. A friend of mine used chantix and she has been smoke free for 3 months, so it can be done! I'll be rooting for you!

Congrats, hang in there it does get easier, I'm going into my 10th day without the overpriced death stick and honestly I feel 100% better. the first couple of days were hard but you can do this with your determination, the support of the people here and the people who love you.
