Hello All. When I quit smoking I was the only one not smoking where I worked Now 3 more have quit. We can help ourselves and others. Marie, thanks for the understanding. I have been doing great since my minor slip. By no means am I going back to smoking. Ever! We have a support group at my work where we meet weekly for lunch-hour sessions. Today we have a nurse coming in to do lung testing. I am excited and nervous. Not sure what it all entails but I am very anxious to find out. Hopefully I will have good results since I've been smoke-free for a month! :) (well, ok...almost smoke-free) Karen. Hi everyone, I'm still here, smoke-free! :) Well, OK.......not exactly.....I guess I need to confess....I've slipped up once....after a few drinks..... (Marie, I'm just not as strong as you are) :( I can't handle the social outings yet. At least not when there is alcohol and my husband is with me (who is still smoking). It's just too much. While I'm at work, I'm fine and at home I'm fine. I know I just need to stay away from alcohol for the next month or two. Until I feel more confident in my quit. Karen.
