The inability to concentrate is due to the carbon monoxide leaving your system. Carbon monixide is a poison, so this is definitely a good thing. You might notice that you are "spaced out" for a few days, perhaps about 3-4 days at the most. Duffis calls it "having the IQ of a rutabega" in "Another Duffis Sermon." if you haven't read it already - I definitely recommend that post! It is often recommended, if possible, that you take off of work for a few days if you have a job that requires you to think quickly. If it's not possible, drink plenty of water - that supposedly helps get the toxins out of your system quicker. Other than that, there's not much advice I can offer. The toxins have to leave your system and in the meantime, you might feel a little lupey. Just hang in there - it WILL pass!
