Timetofindmywillpower, Glad to hear you're feeling better and keeping busy. Everyone's quit is different. The dizzyness usually subsides within the first week or two of your quit. If symptoms continue, persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team

Time - when the sadness or anger (or whatever emotion decides to come up) what about seeing it as a blessing of an opportunity to heal. Healing is a very significant part of the quit journey (it sure has been and is for me). I posted, walked the dog, cleaned the grout in the bathroom, painted a wall, leaned on friends, cried ...and I slept. A lot. I was a see-saw - all by myself :) (some here will agree with that statement, I'm sure!) It's part of the process and what's really powerful about the emotions coming up - is that we are really learning for the first time how to really deal with our feelings - how to ground ourselves and most importantly - we have the wonderful opportunity to learn how to be vulnerable... It's like an awakening... I know... it's tough at times. And - you are doing so well... make sure to reward yourself. Oh, how I can relate! I know a lot of us can. I don't know what to say except to remember, this is TEMPORARY. It will go away and you will go back to feeling "normal". Don't let it get the better of you. I would suggest you watch a feel-good, funny movie (if you want suggestions, that could be a whole other thread!) take a nap, read a book, go shopping, exercise, or just do something that you will enjoy. For me, during my depressed days, a movie and/or a nap worked well. Good luck.
