Sparky (Sparky? We have 2 Sparky's now! And I think Sparky is a great name to use, because our other Sparky is doing soooo wonderfully well on her quit!!!! Let's hope it's catching.) Welcome to SSC, Sparky. I'm Jan and I'm quitting tomorrow as well. I've tried several times before and have just finished reading Allen Carr's book. I'll be using NRT's and have been preparing for tomorrow for a while now. I understand your being apprehensive, but you'll get so much support and advice here, it makes you feel like you belong. New quitters, seasoned quitters, we're all in this boat together. Lots of great ideas to help you through, and make sure you post often, the support is great. I don't come on very often these days but just wanted to wish you both tons of luck for tomorrow. Just take it 1 day at a time and it can be done, I smoked for 35 years and the longest I ever quit was for 9 months many years ago and look at me now!! These support groups really do make all the difference.
