Smoking is, and will always be, a choice...
If you don't know it yet, you will find out that no one will protect your quit like YOU can... it's like a baby... a newborn - carry your quit on a satin pillow and protect it w/your life if you need to for now...
I would highly recommend setting some boundaries w/your friend... Ask yourself how much your quit means to you, dear one.
