Week 51

WooHoo! Week 51! I promise not to smoke this week, this weekend, today or tomorrow. I just am not smoking! I am having a great time! The little tiny numbers on the meter are the most fun cause they just keep on ticking. My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 357 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,932 Amount Saved: $2856 Life Gained: Days: 59 Hrs: 2 Mins: 46 Seconds: 25 Almost 9000 not smoked! I have saved $2856.00 over these weeks and what fun I have had using this as seed money to spend even more money and have some fun, some pleasure, go places I have never been and smell roses and yes taste some mighty fine Italian food. AND the best and mostest, mostest fun of all the most fantatulous things and rewards that there are and the most wonderful to me: I have almost two whole months of life gained. I get to do so very much and be in my life for even more time. HOORAY! Cheers. Wishing you all the very best for the weekend. No matter what you make of it. Just do it smoke free. VERY VERY NICE! My reward for the week was to have a whole day free. I had a blast today seeing a skating demo just down the street, cooked up a storm, did all my Valentines cards. Made a great and very healthy white chili and a really great apple cake, mmmmmm. Wanting to and staying with treating myself really nice. Just like not smoking is treating me really nice. Glad I came here read and searched a few posts. Not smoking is great, man I have so much time and I get to be "in" every thing I do. I still get breaks and they can be to do something really pretty great. I think I will go back to being nice and quiet. "See you all real soon." WOW Congratulations on 1000 days! That's impressive. All that MONEY! WOW. When hubby and I added up our collective cig bill every month it was more than the car payment. Even now, I look in my purse and think "Where did all this MONEY come from?" That's the money not spent on cigs! Good for you Phillip! It's so good to see you reaching this milestone. Almost there! There is nothing in the world like waking up on that morning knowing that you have been smoke free for an entire year. I will be in Costa Rica when you celebrate your birthday. So here are some early birthday wishes. Yours has been a wonderful journey to watch (though not always wonderful to experience, I KNOW!). I rejoice for your freedom, Phillip! Hugs.
