There are many, many similarities with peoples quits and some of this lies with how heavy a smoker we were before we quit. Ive always been an advocate of cutting back on smoking before quit day. The feeling good quicker is very, very nice indeed. Yes others are similar. Boy that sounds positive doesnt it. Good job! Good day Stickin to it My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 409 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,139 Amount Saved: $2147.25 Life Gained: Days: 76 Hrs: 0 Mins: 58 Seconds: 40

...why does this post sound so familiar to me? Good for you! How amazing the changes in us after we quit... I am also healthier, at the young age of 55, that I have ever been in my entire life. Keep doing what you're doing, and enjoy your wonderful, smoke-free, healthy life! Blessings! Yes Healer, where have I heard that before!! :) Every time I read a post like this I KNOW we are winning! It seems like we are driving negativity away from the site and that can only be a good thing for all who are trying to quit here. There really is nothing to fear. Thank you 2tone; thanks for sharing with everyone and congratulations on beating the addiction. You should be very proud of what you have done for yourself and this post WILL help others. Good Luck! 2tone.....a HUGE congratulations to you in your success! In my opinion you have "seen" smoking for what it really is....dirty, disgusting and deadly. Once you reach that place in this journey, there is no going back...the "fear" of relapsing ceases to exist. It doesn't necessarily mean that you will Never think of smoking??? It just means that you will SEE and REMEMBER what it is if and when you do... that practically guarantees that you will stay strong and not smoke. Don't forget to keep a reward program going....
