Erika & Liz,
Congrats to you both on your first smoke free day! We are so proud of you!
You may doubt yourself but you're proving you can do it with every hour that passes!
Reward yourselves for staying smoke free!
Danielle

Erika -
Liz is here (obviously you found her posts)...
And I wanted to say to you - you can do this, she can do this, you can do it together if you stay quit together *and* most importantly, friend - YOU can do this...
Just hold on tight... Get all of the ashtrays and smoking stuff outta the way...
And focus and get grounded in quitting now...
Someone is normally around here - me late sometimes and there will be others when you need support...
Just reach out and spend as much time here as possible reading and reading some more. Then read even more. You need to build some coping skills, build your self-confidence in your quit and take good care of you right now...
One step at a time.
Blessings-
~ Healer

Erika,

You are breaking a 26 yr long addiction to nicotine.. a chemical, that if eaten, will flat out kill you. However, in the gaseous form, we get just enough to simply slowly kill us.
Best wishes.
