I usually rant about what has upset me and then I move right along. If I cant solve it, then I tr to figure out a better way. OR I just pull out a recipe from my head and start baking =) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/21/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 55 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 553 Amount Saved: $110 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 20 Mins: 56 Seconds: 0

Have a drink! That's not what you are looking for is it? I'll try again... 1. There is ALWAYS some way to turn a negative to a positive (If you don't believe me, the next time your car battery dies, let me jump it off for you! :eg:) 2. Take a warm, relaxing bath. 3. Have your 'significant other' give you a massage (No significant other? Not to worry, ask a fireman!) 4. Take a nap. 5. Go for a long walk/re-connect with yourself. 6. Meditate or pray...it certainly can't hurt! 7. Curl up with a good book. 8. Go to the mall and spend money you don't have on frivilous things you don't need. 9. Sit on the porch swing and sip hot tes. 10. Runaway from home. My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 67 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,398 Amount Saved: $536 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 23 Mins: 47 Seconds: 22

LOL Phil! Yes you are a senior boy. What time will you be around in your electric wheelchair to pick her up? Read the Bible. Get lots of hugs from anyone that will give them. Have a good cry. Go to bed early. Go out to eat. Rent a movie. Vent to a friend or journal it. Be grateful that whatever is going on will pass, don't dwell on it, be thankful at all times, choose thoughts that are going to benefit me, concentrate on taking action, not forgetting to love myself & others along the way. windy, Sorry if I appear a little smug but I DO NOT HAVE BAD DAYS!! Please don't confuse smugness with confidence and ease of quit. I knew what I wanted to do and I did it. In relation to smoking, every day is a good day, I just don't smoke any more and I am so happy about that!
