hi Monica 58 thanks for your reply. What i meant from "negative posting " is that because i didnt get many replies to my "crys for help " i was beginning to question whether i was important enough for the people that had been on here a long time and knew each other.I didnt feel part of the family but i realise that it was just my emotions going crazy !!! i havent been myself the last 3 weeks with giving up for 7 days then relapsing then giving up again for 5 days then relapsing AGAIN.My mindset hasnt been where it should have been so im not going to be sook anymore!! just positives even when its hard My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/20/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Hi everyone, im satrting over !! I have relapsed twice in the last 3 weeks.I have posted some pretty negative stuff because i didnt get the replies that i wanted. My emotions have been all over the shop!!! But it has just come to me that as much as i read inspirational posts on here, it really does come down to me and controlling my JUNKIE thoughts.Today is my quit day and this morning the demon convinced me that in can be ANY time today so i bought a packet of 25,s on the way to work this morning. i have had 5 of those ( it is 11.50am where i am )but 2 minutes ago i grabbed the scissors on my desk and chopped the remaining 20 into a zillion pieces!!! Im sick of "putting it off " so the time is now as,the 20/11/06 at 11.56 am.I QUIT !!!! ONE MINUTE,1 HOUR,1 DAY AT A TIME My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/20/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Hi Super, Yep - the first stages of being quit, I felt really paranoid and angry and upset... My head was all over the place. It's an emotional journey, for sure. But it does get better, I promise - you've just got to give yourself the chance to feel better. If you allow yourself to get through the first two weeks without smoking, I promise that you'll be feeling a bit more in control. Go for it, Super! We're right there, with you. Super, Quitting is emotional. I was a mean **tch my first week. I didn't know what was up or down lol. I mostly just hid under the covers and I rewarded myself often with little things. Hot bath, cup of tea, time to read a good book... anything that you enjoy. And it does get better. I am not as spacey as I was and I feel I have a little more control over my emotions than I did that first week. Just don't smoke and post here when you need to. The positives totally out weigh smoking even at this early stage in my quit I can say that. Hang in there and we are here! ~Valic My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 19 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 97 Amount Saved: $100.7 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 8 Mins: 29 Seconds: 47

Well...you got our attention now! So...you fell off the wagon repeatedly over the last three weeks. I have been struggling with this for 6 months! 80 days, relapse; 34 days, relapse; 2 days, relapse, etc..... Frustrating as hell, isn't it? You get mad at the world! We love you...unconditionally...cuz we know who you are REALLY mad at! And the only reason we know that is because we've been there before! :) Come on, get back to the quit. You know what to do, and we've got your back! Even when you're ugly, nasty and mean!
