My goodness, Jan! With all these ideas you will need a full-size shopping cart! I like word-finds and easy crosswords. Haven't tried suduko, but a lot of my friends like it. How about a nintendo ds? They have some brain booster games...(or just buy the game and 'borrow' the ds from the kids!) Nicholas Sparks has a new book out (Dear John). Maybe cross-stitch, piano lessons or pottery classes? The list is endless.......
Look at those 4 days on Sparky's meter! Good for you! :)

There is a german bakery just down from my office. Fresh baked german breads, etc... They also have some liebkucken (a cookie that is absolutely wonderful). I keep resisting, but I have decided that tomorrow is THE day!!! I am going to buy myself a whole bunch of those cookies! While there I am going to order a basket for my mother-in-law and several others as gifts. If I'm going to be fat, I'm taking a whole bunch down with me! :eg:

Jan, do you have room for everything? You really have been given a lot of great ideas. May I use some of them ;p. Can't wait for you to have your quit. That would be the best present you can give yourself. I am so glad you didn't leave us and thank you for being such a good friend. Add your friends to your basket :gasp: Oh, no they don't make baskets that big. ;) You know we are here for you. You go girl.

Jan, what else could you need :eg: Oh, yes you need some Cherry Blossom :p The journal is a great idea. I do one and it is iteresting to go back and read it. I'am not perfect with but when I do, I keep track of the foods I eat and the calories, I wear a pedometor and keep track of my steps and miles. Then I write a few lines about how I was feeling that day and something that may have special meaning. Allen Carr's book is a good read. Yes, read that :)Good teas, hugs from the family and your special friends here. Don't forget the hot chocolate before betime, yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Hey Guys, don't forget the jigsaw puzzles, keeping the hands and mind very busy and it's much better to get frustrated with a puzzle than a crave! Lots of water bottles on that cart too, the colder, the better. AND a couple of HARLAN COBEN books!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Jan
Listen forget the sugar free stuff - it's Christmas!!! Go for the full fat treatment girl. Indulge and enjoy.
Could I suggest Alan Carr as a good book to read . . . really it's soo helpful. It really helped me shift my perspective about smoking and I moved from a position of gloom to one of hope and positivity with a sense of quitting being real possibility. I can't recommend it highly enough if you haven't read it already.
All the best
Sharon

I'm sitting here drinking green tea as I read this wonderful list of suggestions for a quit cart. May I suggest a relaxation CD, just to chill out when you fel like ripping your hair out or chewing off your own arm.
Cheers
