With several quits & relapses under my belt, all I can say your day belongs to you and what you want to do with it. I find if I stay focused my days are great and if I let one thing slide I am in my own pity pot. Thanks for the reminder. But as one who has losted quits I have to be very aware of stinking thinking :p Temptation is every where and on the other hand there is all kinds of support. Today I choose support and not to smoke. Have a good one. I have to do this now, because I am going to the beach for the weekend and wont be here to post. This weekend I celebrate my 50 day mark !! I have done this cold turkey and I feel that this time I am really beating the addiction. I have changed my eating habits too and am also exercising. I am on top of the world and feeling bulletproof !! Am I Proud ??? Hell Yeah !!! Have a great weekend everyone I know I am ! Doom and Gloom? Not me man. Not my style. Think positive. The glass isn't half empty, it's twice as big as it needs to be. I'm a realist. Smile - I sure am..... Every journey begins with that first step. Once taken each and every step there after gets easier and easier and soon you become aware that you have reached your destination. Keep up the great work Theresa you can do this. :) Duffis My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 642 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 19,280 Amount Saved: $1649.94 Life Gained: Days: 128 Hrs: 12 Mins: 57 Seconds: 17

Hi Theresa, Do not be discouraged and I PRAISE you wholeheartedly!! I share your concern and apologise for all the gloom and doom but that's the way it is. If you look hard enough there are plenty of upbeat, positive posts from people who choose to do it a different way. Please know that some of us have fun quitting; we are proud of that and proud of what we are achieving along the way. Take the positives and sidestep the negatives. Good luck and many, many congratulations on one week smokefree!!! Penitent d913
