A PRAISE PARTY!

18 years ago 0 126 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Reading posts, over and over again has been by far the most important tool I've used to date. But today, everything I read seems to be doom and gloom. Yup its hard, but dwelling on the degree of difficulty isn't doing anyone of usa any favors. OK, ok, so its only 7 days for me, but I am DAMNED PROUD of my resolve. Yes its been difficult at times, and not so difficult at others. So for today, I'm having a self praise party HORRAH FOR ME!!!!! Anyone choose to join me? Way to go Theresa. It is wonderful to hear your positive attitude coming through in your post. One week is huge. It really is. Each following week will get a little better. oh Theresa, well I remember 7 days! Because it was only 3 weeks ago! But anyway, the doom and gloom you are reading will not strike you as such when you get down the road a little farther. You will be able to see it as the true warning against complacency that it is. You saw the lady with 11 years? Well I don't see that as doom and gloom from my slight distance on the road. I see it as a warning to be ever cautious in my quit and no matter how far down the road I go, to remember where I came from and to remember not to take any side roads, ever. And you are right where you are supposed to be, in the throes of withdrawals, which will make you think doom and gloom of most things. Have you noticed the sun shining yet? You are on the right track, being proud and positive and do please reward yourself for the HUGE accomplishment you have acchieved. You are a newborn chick and you so deserve freedom. Welcome Theresa It is what we make of it. The first seven days are the most trying. It gets better from now on. Just keep your guard up and don't let things temp you. Keep up with that strong attitute. That's what it takes. Keep busy, distract, use self talk!
