With the new IM, it's actually pretty easy except for a small issue I'm currently having.
Here is a step by step for starting it up and adding in buddies:
Log in to the website from the main page.
Then go to the support group/message board main page.

That's it!
Once you have a buddy added, you can simply double click thier name to have the actual message box pop up where you can enter and send your messages.
Currently, I seem to be having problems having anyones name show up after entering it into the search box. I haven't determined if it's my own problem or a problem with the program itself.
