Gratitude, a huge part of being able to get through.
I am grateful for my courage.
I am grateful for my persistance.
I am grateful for my fellow quitters.
I am grateful for the internet and this place.
I am grateful for swimming.
I am gratefulf for pies.
I am grateful that I can choose not to eat said pies.
I am grateful for my bodies ability to heal.
I am grateful for having my hand held by so many here.
I am grateful for the tears I have shed.
I am grateful for my anger, it has propelled me to something new and different.
I am grateful for my fear of death, it has powered my quit.
I am grateful for my sister, she showed me what dying was minute by minute and ounce by ounce.
I am grateful for my respect and love for my sister because her death showed me what might come if I continued.
I am grateful for my ability to choose.
Not to light another.
Health over illness.
Life over death.
I am grateful for clean fingers.
I am grateful for the way I smell.
I am grateful for clean white teeth.
I am grateful to be able to taste again.
I am grateful to feel less dizzy.
I am grateful to have fewer headaches.
I am grateful to be able to run.
I am grateful to be able to dance.
These are a few of the things that I am grateful for.
Almost all of them are a direct result of quitting smoking. Having not smoked 4000+ cigarettes, having not taken some 60,000 puffs of nicotine laden smoke.
I am grateful for just being able to be alive.
What are you grateful for?
