I was talking with some of my friends this past weekend who still smoke. They want to know all about what it's like to quit. I told them that the biggest thing I learned in the first month is that when I have a craving, if I decide not to satisfy that craving with a smoke I'm not going to die or go crazy. That was a big hurdle for me, as I had not gone even a few hours without smoking for many, many years. now I'm convinced it's okay - and possible to quit.
So you had a slip, but you know that you can get through 50 days or more of not smoking. Get back at it and this time make it 500, or 5000, or 50000 days. Nothing bad will come from stopping again.
