This is a first post for me, a lurker at heart and a new member, a never-was smoker, but I really felt you series of posts here called for a response. I understand about your wife not liking you. I've been married for 18 yearsand my wife has hated me for at least 6 of those years. Some of it was deserved. She still does. Maybe it's because it's the only way she can respond to me. It's a temporary rut at best. The strange thing is she still cares for me. Maybe your wife still cares about you. If you can bring it up, it would be a good place to start a regeneration of the relationship. But patience doesn't come easy; the only way to free yourself from her is to make a mental break just as you freed yourself from cigs. Get outside of the box and start thinking about #1. Cigs, wives, alcohol, drugs cause a nasty case of dependency for many people who really deserve a break. Good luck, Mission Critical

I don't get it. You are a guardian angel to me and so many others. Nuance is lost on me. No, no, no, my wife and I love each other very much. She is tthe biggest part of my life, next to non smoking :). I haven't been here much for her lately. I've been a bad boy! Thanks for caring.

Okay I am truly sorry. I thought my worth was spent; wife is not liking me much though! Let't do this and stick together.
