Thanks you guys, for your support! As far as a reward... I made a major decision yesterday. For years, I have wanted a really good set of headphones. I love listening to music, but I like to hear every single instrument, and no better way than with a really good set of headphones. (I used to lay on the floor to try and hear it all)--don't tell anyone - that's a secret. Anyway, yesterday I was listening to my ipod with the little earbuds, and thought: "Why haven't I bought a nice set of headphones?" I answered myself with: "Because they are too expensive and impractical". NO MORE! I'm planning to go headphone shopping tomorrow. I have some picked out. Maybe they are expensive, but they will give me pleasure, and I haven't smoked for 50 days, so I deserve it!!! These rewards are great! How nice we are to ourselves!! Hey... thanks you guys! I've been looking forward to fifty days for some reason... could it be that I'm so excited to get to the beach, and now I can say I'm half-way there? I think so... I LOVE the beach, and nobody will tell me about it until I arrive. The other day a co-worker asked me how the smoking was going. I looked at her strangely, and said: "It's a non-issue... I quit". Non-smokers need to learn to ask the right questions, which should be: How are you holding up, not smoking???? ;) Had smoking dreams the past couple of nights, and in one of them I had been smoking 1 or 2 cigs a day at night, but I still thought I had quit and that smoking those cigs was acceptable, and still counted. I woke up and thought: "Whew, I really haven't been doing that!" It was distressing! :8o: Thanks for all the support!! This site has made it fun! ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/31/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 49 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 743 Amount Saved: $94.57 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 18 Mins: 1 Seconds: 24

Interesting: I couldn't be happier for you -- you have done such an amazing job with your quit. I remember when you got here and it doesn't seem like 7 weeks and/or 50 days. But 50 days is INDEED halfway to THE BEACH!! I can tell you that I have already made advance arrangements for a very special and beautiful BEACH sunset for you in your honor on your arrival (by my calculations, Monday, April 9). I just counted on the calendar, but I've always been a bit math-challenged, so you may want to double check on the date. I do want to schedule it properly. That would be a shame to have this wonderful sunset for you on your 99th day and you MISS it. So let me know if I got the date right, ok? Can't wait to welcome you to the beach, friend! Congratulations on your hard-earned 50 days. This is the BEST news I've heard all day. In fact, today it is 51 days and THAT is the best news I've heard all day. Glad you're here with us. Love your posts. Headphones are a great idea - even better is to hear you doing ultra positive, fun and healthy things for yourself. You are so worth it. ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/29/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 52 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 525 Amount Saved: $260 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 23 Mins: 31 Seconds: 39

Hi Interesting, Please allow me to start this celebration. Excellent quit going for yourself. Forty nine and Fifty days are very huge. Think about this, 7 weeks in a roll of getting up each morning, through afternoons and evenings and not lighting up 15 times each day. Well that would mean a total of 743 cigs not smoke. How many pack is that? That's huge alright and congratulation.
