Angelcapp,
I can't take Chantix or any of the NRT's for health reasons. My quit was also "cold turkey." Whether you use something or are cold turkey, that fear is there right before the quit. I know it's the addiction messing with our minds but I also wonder if we're so afraid of failing. Of course, that could be the addiction talking too. Complicated, huh? I do know with me the longer I thought about quitting, the more worked up I'd get. I've done better to just jump in there. Use those tools to the left and stay busy but go ahead and jump on in the pool with the rest of us. You're going to be fine. This thing isn't bigger than you are.
Hugs,
Tutti
