I remember some 21 months ago, 91 weeks, 638 days and over 19,000 cigarettes not smoked. There were many ups and downs yet one day at a time seemed to work for me. I had so many great friends here at the SSC that helped me along the way Ros, Rusty and the unbeatable group called the Unsmokeables. UFO, Missy, Brenna, Georgie and Major Dude what a ride it has been and I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. I know there are many I am forgetting to mention here and they all know who they are and I thank you also.
To all the new quitters and mid quitters this is not an easy task by any means but it certainly can be done. If I live till this July I will be 74 and then my goal is the big three year quit and the golden age of 75. My life has been a hoot with so many stories along the way. I wish all of you the success with your quits that I have had. Even the moderators whom I fight with from time to time, I thank you.
To all the quitters at the SSC, have a great smoke free life.
