hi sts... have you ruled out all physical causes? hyper thyroidism? vitamin deficiency? breathing troubles? caffiene intake? if you are taking pain remedies for headaches or ear pain, do they have caffiene in them? i am super-sensitive to caffiene. it makes me feel like you describe... dizzy and gross. i am like you- hypersensitive to all drugs... and i have ear problems, too. (last year i had a ruptured eardrum)... hey, another thing, have you tried using drops to clean the wax out of your ears? sometimes i have the worse dizziness from blockage in my ear canals. i have extremely narrow ear canals. relieving the pressure from wax makes a world of difference sometimes. that's all i can think of right now. good luck. peace. tai

I have been dealing with some medical problems that need resolution through various tests and procedures (and possibly surgery). My insurance stinks, so I have to wait several months as I apply for new insurance (now with pre-existing conditions - but I'm in a small group, so they can only raise the rates, they can't disallow their treatment!) Anyway, one of my problems is dizziness caused by my inner ear and the other is headaches and muscle tension from TMJ. I have a night guard and am working with a chiropractor on the TMJ (the surgeon said there's no use operating and the dentist wants to do therapy for over $2500). My ear/dizziness has been bothering me a lot in the last few days and so have the headaches, partly due to the manipulation at the chiropractor. I know I've been dwelling on the pain and bothersome dizziness lately. I've had little bouts of anxiety during the day which never amount to anything more than my stomach tightening up and a rushing feeling that's over in a second or two. I haven't been sleeping too well though (I fall asleep, but wake up a lot). However, last night, I couldn't fall asleep, despite the valerian I took, and I wound up with a panic attack. I haven't had one in months. I get diarrhea and nausea from the attacks that cripples me the next day. I also have the "after effects" of drifting to sleep then sort of jolting awake, so I never get back to sleep. I took Xanax and finaly fell asleep for a few hours, but woke up at 5:30 with my husband and had another attack trying to go back to sleep - this one was smaller. I barely crawled out of bed (except to use the bathroom several times). My 7 year old made breakfast for herself and my 4 year old. I'm a wreck. My stomach is in knots, I'm nauseous and exhausted, my head hurts and, of course, I'm still dizzy. It's Sunday, so my Psych. isn't in the office. I need to take care of my kids and it upsets me that I can't because of these attacks - caused by my worrying. (My husband travels for a living, so it's just me.) I tried taking Lexapro - it made me soo sick I couldn't eat or sleep for the month I was on it and also the month after I stopped it. I lost 10 lbs. (and I don't need to, so that was bad). I also tried Elavil one night at a half dose and was up all
