I'm not a Junebug but Congratulations on your Most Awesome 205 days! That is an incredible accomplishment, and it's wonderful to hear that you feel strong and redefined. Do you still do rewards and if so, what do you give yourself for these jumbo stats? Another Junebug still here, hanging on and making it work. It *does* get easier, but also because N.O.P.E. is always at the back of my mind. Hey Janet, I'm still here! I'm glad you're feeling so well, and me too. I hardly think about smoking at all anymore. I don't even bug my smoking hubby. I'm onto thinking about healthier eating habits now. And getting a healthier work environment (I hate my job) I feel that this was the best thing I've ever done for myself, probably the only thing that I've done for myself. I still feel proud every day that I've done it. To the newbies, it gets soooo much easier, and its sooo worth the pain of the first few days. No Janet, don't know about Marie, although I know can guarantee her quit is strong. Are you on much anymore? I come in almost daily, but never have time to post, more like a quick look from work. Hi everyone and thanks for your replys - its always nice to log on and see someone cares!! Parrot Lady - hello and congratulations on your 4 days! I remember how hard hell week was and in fact that keeps me VERY honest (never want to have to go back through that again)! As far as rewards go, I'm really just starting those up again. I have 3 little boys and most of money is spoken for before I receive it!!!!! Anyway, I have rejoined my gym (AGAIN)LOL and that will be my reward for the next little while. Hello Andy my fellow Junebug!!!! So nice to hear from you - and a great big CONGRATS on those awesome stats - doesnt it just make you feel so powerful to be doing this is? Somedays I feel like yelling from the roof tops! Heres to us and to the New Year. Well done. Hi Cheermom and Livadia And a very Merry Belated Christmas to you both. It is really inspiring to see us Junebugs still here. I was wondering about Marie lately - any of you in touch with her? If youre out there let us know Marie. All the best to all of you, Janet My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 206 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,481 Amount Saved: $1133 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 16 Mins: 2 Seconds: 32

Hey you all! Its been a while since I've checked in here. Wow - time just seems to go by sooooo fast - especially during the holidays. I'm deffinitly going strong (over 200 days now and well past the six month mark). This is the year that I will turn 40 and I'm pretty darn excitted about entering that year healthy and as a non smoker. What better way to honor myself and this milestone birthday than with the gift of health. I have 9 months to bring my energy level up and increase my fittness level, and yes lose some weight at the same time! Hmmm, 9 months, that is kind of telling because this feels like a rebirth - a rebirth to health. I know there are so many of you out there that can relate to what Im saying - how now we just want to be strong and healthy and WHOLE. Fill up that void left from smoking with health and wellness. Let me hear your stories of inspiration as we welcome this new year - this new life of ours. Sincerely, Janet My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 205 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,469 Amount Saved: $1127.5 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 13 Mins: 42 Seconds: 3

Hi Andy. No, I'm not on much anymore at all and when I do come on I generally take a quick look at stats parade and this forum. I used to think it was selfish of me not to give back to the newbies but I honestly just don't have the time. I went back to work in October and between that and my three little boys life is pretty crazy! That being said, I do love this site and credit it with helping me through those early days of my quit. I have a girlfriend whom I thought would NEVER quit smoking and today I had coffee with her and she said shes been thinking about it everyday for weeks. I told her about this website and that she shouldnt do it without the help. I really really believe this support makes all the difference. And then when your strong enough.....you can come back once in awhile and say hello! I hope your right about Marie, and I'm sure you are I just miss hearing from her. Take care Andy and I will check in soon!
