I'm a 32+ year smoker that used Chantix to quit. I gotta tell ya, it's a great help! You still have to do the hard stuff like NOT SMOKE, but Chantix will kill your physical craving to smoke. If you crave a smoke, it's phychological.
I had a few side effects from Chantix early on (cramps, stomach ache, etc.), but it's better than smoking. Two days after I quit, I read Allen Carr's book - the easy way to quit...I read the book in five hours. Let me tell you, the book, the Chantix and the nice people here are all you'll need.
Good luck!
