Double Your Effort

Rusty, Super post! I don't know why, but the DoubleMint jingle came to mind... Double your pleasure, Double your fun, Be quit forever and don't be dumb! :p N2k... doubly adv. 1. To a double degree; twice: doubly protected; made doubly certain. 2. In a twofold manner. Hey, I had to check your work! ;p (it is way too early to be this creative!) Be Strong. Here's a thought to take you into the week: Double Your Effort Right now you can take one sure and steady step toward whatever you desire. It may not seem like much, yet for every step forward you take, you actually gain two steps. Why? Because at any point in time you have a choice. You can either move toward your goal or you can move away from it. Standing still is usually not an option. So when you move forward, you also avoid moving backward. That's a net gain of double your effort. When you spend your time and effort today in moving forward, not only do you make progress, you also avoid having to play catch up tomorrow. Indeed, now is the time to act. The sooner you get started, the farther you can go and the more effective you'll be. The choice is yours. You can act today and double your effectiveness, or you can wait until later and slice your effectiveness in half. This moment right now is yours to leverage in a powerful way. It's a great opportunity. Make it count! -- Ralph Marston Rusty :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/13/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 454 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,728 Amount Saved: $1589 Life Gained: Days: 62 Hrs: 12 Mins: 51 Seconds: 4

Hey Rusty, A great Post, Keepum Coming, I just wanted to tell You that, ''This is the Best Day of My Life,'' And tomorrow, I will say it again, Just completed 3 years quit, And I'm almost speechless, that I accomplished this addiction, Don't never tell me it CAN'T BE DONE, For I know better, I wanted to share this Story with Ya, Was out fishing in my boat last week, and happen to notice this sort of young Fellar fishing from His boat, And from what I could gather, looked like He layed His fishing pole down to light up a ciggerette, Well, I believe that fishing pole is laying at the bottom of the lake today, with a large fish on the other end, The poor Guy, I should have gave Him my card, on the Stop Smoking Center, but that would have been like throwing gas on the fire, When You get a chance, send me a Friendship Card, For I would like to tell You more about this Fishing and Smoking, my address, John W, 21843 S 486 rd Tahlequah, OK 74464 You must feel like a million dollars, 454 days smoke free, You got it Friend, Take care, Smokless In Oklahoma :)
