virtual smoking

Oh, please no whistle's announcing break time...that would be killer. I have actually stopped taking break's at work (I post instead), and now three weeks in, I don't even miss not taking my breaks. Take it one break at a time, and do something different for your breaks. I sometimes will just make a quick drink (non-alcoholic of course), or slowly walk to the ladies room taking deep breaths and enjoying the fact that I'm leaving a wake of smoke smell in the hallway. I'm sure some day they will have virtual smoking....they have everything else....lol Now virtual eating I would be really interested in! :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 20 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 450 Amount Saved: $110 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 19 Mins: 20 Seconds: 21

This is day 8 and the first day back at work. In my old haunts. Right now is my cigarette break time. I figure I'm lucky that there isn't a factory whistle announcing it. Once I let it go in my brain, this time will slip by. Did any of those futuristic movies like Sleeper or Demolition Man include virtual smoking? That would be a good idea. I saw a guy at our psyche ward power smoke a pack during their smoke break...It was horrendous looking...a cig in each hand, lighting another from the butt of a finished one..so pretty much he had 3 smokes going at any given time. And I remember what I smelled like after having just one! eeww. Anyway great going imallclear..You are awesome!!--DD My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 20 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 417 Amount Saved: $92 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 22 Mins: 54 Seconds: 50

Hey I'm, Call it your coffe break time, or your walk time, or your snack time, but NEVER your cigarette break time! Goodness, no! LOL And I have to listen to staff yell "Smokers" every couple of hours at work; The staff hand out smokes and light them, because the psychotic folk are not noticeably careful about fire and the like: it's worse than a factory whistle! All the Pavlov's responses come to the fore....
