I chose the name Sparky because that was my very first dog's name. My real name is Sharon and I am from Nebraska - Go Big Red ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 35 Amount Saved: $9 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 11 Mins: 14 Seconds: 42

jacko: I use the name Circuit Because that is the Court System that I work in. When I'm in Circuit Court I couldn't smoke and when I first quit I Stayed in Court as much as I could. Well I choose cheermom because my daughter has been in cheerleading for over 10 years. Now she is in college and still continuing with the cheerleading. I was one of those cheerleader moms that would be at almost every game cheering my cheerleader on (especially at competitions) and would bring the snacks and I was labled cheermom. I hosted a bunch of sleep-overs and just became "cheermom" to all the girls throughout the years. Nice thread Jacko, It's interesting to hear why people chose their names. I chose the name Zany, because I am perfectly sane ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 876 Amount Saved: $143 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 23 Mins: 31 Seconds: 50

Jacko, I'm not sure - but I do remember a poster for Malboro when I was young featuring a cowboy and his horse. Somebody had written across it "Horses don't smoke" This one did - but those days are long gone! Well, I am a Nascarfan to the core. I know pretty obvious! I started here as billyfrog which is a name that I put together because my favorite nand is greenday and the lead singer is billy (ie) joe. I LOVE frogs (have a tatoo of one on my leg) so I put them together...billyfrog! hehehe! I changed my name because I failed in my first quit and when I came back...I just needed a fresh start! I think it is neat how this relates to our quits because even though we all have quitting in common, we are all still individual, just like our quits! I picked "Timetodoit" for the reason that it was time to do it. Everyone has that breaking point where they say enough is enough. Now that I started again, I think it's time to pick a new, flashier, name. lol. Any suggestions? Anothe rgood thread thanks Jacko I called myself Riverdaleman as I am a man and I live in a neighbourhood called Riverdale. I really did n't give much thought to the name. I read on the site a lot for several days before I joined. I was kind of scared because there were so many women posting to the site and so few men and I wanted to be unambiguos. I also wanted to be reminder of where I live. I live in a century home that has been brought back to life, from the time of the renovation no one has smoked in this house and I wanted to continue that. Riverdaleman also sounded nice to men. Thanks for asking.
