Coronarystents3, hi you're going throught withdrawal, this is not an easy period, not only nicotine is leaving your body but 4000 chemicals also. Are you using tools to keep your hands busy, I would cut straws in 3 and breathe threw them or just bite them ,I had them all over the house, also cinnamon gum, or cinnamon sticks, mints. When you're at the computer bring a straw, or cinnamon stick whatever you choose. Also drinking a lot of water, I drink bottled water so I carry my bottle with me all the time, and when stress overwhelms you, deep breathing, breath in hold it breath out, this is very helpful and helped me a lot. Take care of yourself, reward yourself at the end of the day, bubble bath, or a movie, or something you enjoy and can't do during the day. Hope this helps and it can be done one day at a time :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 105 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,581 Amount Saved: $420 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 21 Mins: 40 Seconds: 13

The more you use the computer without smoking, the more you will disassociate using the computer with smoking. Everything just takes repetition as a non smoker to kick those mental thoughts. Take comfort in that knowledge and try to be patient with the process. Easier said than done, I know, but trust me ... it does get easier ... lots easier.
