Thanks to all of you for these valuable advices! I was engulfed in emotion...I've found here a group of lovely people that really appreciate to help each other. A gesture that touched us deeply! My focus must be my day not the future! Have a nice weekend! Hi Carpenter.... Just take it one minute or one hour or one day at a time. Try and focus on TODAY and not worry about any other day. TODAY is the most important day. ;) You have looked after 12 days so far......and those days are now precious to you, guard them with all your strength Carpenter......YOU CAN DO IT. Carpenter, my "worry day" was day 8. I could never seem to make it past that. But I'm past that now. The support here has helped me so much. One of the big things for me this time round is that I keep telling myself all of this withdrawal as well as the cravings are only TEMPORARY. That has been a focal point for me this quit. Just yesterday afternoon I had some of the worst cravings yet. If I hadn't been laying down(I have a bad cold right now) they would have brought me to my knees. But again -- THIS TOO SHALL PASS -- and they did. By evening I was feeling much better. The cravings had passed. So hang in there. It DOES get easier. Caarpenter126 don't worry about sharing your feelings, this is what we're here for. Think positive, don't look back, you've already done 12 days that's amazing. It might be time to review your reasons for quitting, this is mostly a mind game and you can do it with selftalk and here's an idea, write down the reasons for quitting and keep them in your pocket for a while so you can look at them often. You can do it one day at a time :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 102 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,536 Amount Saved: $408 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 12 Mins: 13 Seconds: 6

Marie is right---remind yourself why you are quitting, keep busy on that 15th day, keep coping tools handy---afterward reward yourself! Keep your guard up and come here when you need to! You can do it---we have faith in you! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 15 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 771 Amount Saved: $120 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 14 Mins: 7 Seconds: 44
