Frustration...UGGG!!!

19 years ago 0 189 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I am sitting here and I must say that I am quite frustrated with myself. This is the 4th time that I have tried to quit smoking. I am on day 3 this time, and honestly I must say that I am doing pretty well. I am not feeling much of the withdrawal symptoms like last time; however I am feeling the cold like symptoms coming on as my body is going through detoxify time. I don't understand why I seem to fall back in the pattern of hurting myself, by starting smoking again. I don't know whether to see this 4th time as a failure or as possible Freedom from this disease. Anyway I am trying again, and seemingly a bit cranky today. But I must tell you the best thing about not smoking is not having to worry about the offensive smell you might be giving off. Well I am going to keep trying, and I am going to win this time. The hardest thing is going to be that all my friends smoke, but maybe they will all follow me in the journey to quit. Please pray for me to continue to be strong and to be an example, and most importantly seek out help and support rather than falling back into the old gross yucky habit.
