Hi Dee -
Where are you in your Quit(?) (please show your meter so we can better support you)...
I truly believe that we bring to our Quit journeys what we do in our everyday life... In other words, if there is peace inside, we will bring that peace into our Quits and that peace will soften the journey. If we have some rough edges inside, some anger for example, that will be magnified during our Quits, especially at first... So where each of us goes on the journey, is mapped well before we Quit, IMO...
This journey can be tough - I khow that I dealt with some emotions due to some losses that I had not completely processed... Did I feel like I had no fun? I guess one would have to define fun... When did I realize life was good w/out cigarettes? When I woke up from my flu-cold thing, and realized I had Quit... :)
Life is ((really)) good, Dee ... make it good - take good care of yourself, find some passion and make sure to reward yourself... When I really felt down, I knew it was reward time...
Part of the process is mental - it's emotional... Embrace the journey and don't forget to embrace your own humanity...
Blessings-
~ Healer
