Yes, Maria - - thanks for stopping in. LOVE the name - September Leaves. Wonder what the October group will call themselves? I like Pumpkinheads. OK, OK, I'm outta here before I get yelled at . . . Ericon ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 51 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,810 Amount Saved: $369.75 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 19 Mins: 36 Seconds: 39

!!! SURPRISE !!! (Balloons coming down from ceiling, confetti flying everywhere, servers are rolling out a round table with a huge cake, everyone's singing, smiling & congratulationing Sillyme on making it through a ROUGH one) Yes friend, that sadness, that crying stuff . . . un-fun for sure. But guess it's just something we have to go through every so often. I can certainly see the frequency of mine lessening as time goes on. Hope the same proves true for you. Close your eyes dear, see everyone's so happy - and here comes Deli with . . . what is that? What the . . . Coconuts! Coconut halves filled with something . . . look at the tiny, little plastic ships floating in the coconut drinks. Deli - - what in the world kind of drinks are those? ;) Ericon My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 57 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,026 Amount Saved: $413.25 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 12 Mins: 10 Seconds: 54

Ah-ho! Wheres mine? Its the one with a Shirley Temple in it cause Im screwy enough without adding alcohol in my mix - - (big grin). To Delis toast, Here, Here! I say. (lots of muted little thuds as multiple coconut drinks are clunked together) Ahhhhh . . . thats refreshing. Say, did you see that go by? Its another one of those Speedos . . . think Ill go follow that one & see where hes going . . . Ah, wait a minute - haven't seen NoMoreCig. Better make sure NMC found the AC party first. Hey everybody, help me find NMC! waddle ... shuffle, shuffle ... waddle ... shuffle, shuffle (after inhaling the buffet spiked with Chinese chili paste, Ericon with her newly acquired 7 lbs, carries a chair over to the stage & plants it, just as Grace is taking her bows) "Hey Grace!" yells Ericon, who is now wearing the coconut shell glass as a hat while clapping, whistling, stomping . . . Hey Grace! Request! I gotta request! My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 60 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,132 Amount Saved: $435 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 20 Mins: 25 Seconds: 39

Been gone a few days & figured I'd wander in to see what's up. Think NoMoreCig has 60 days, which I missed seeing the last time I was onsite. And you too Mary! MAJOR CONGRATS!! Two months is a huge accomplishment. I know what you mean about quitting so late in life ... ah, if I had only been smart while young ... oh well, am quit now so that's all that counts! And I like that I have more energy and can breathe better but have been coughing quite a bit as of late. Maybe my lungs are finally clearing. Quite a party going on here. Is that Phil streaking by with nothing but a tie? And who's that over there ... kinda looks like ... SHRIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK! SCREEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAM! ELVIS IS ALIVE! (faint) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 67 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,371 Amount Saved: $485.75 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 14 Mins: 49 Seconds: 4

Well, well ... from this Animal House Alumni Augustine ... I'm certainly ready for another party! Sillyme - CONGRATULATIONS on 70 Days! Am so glad for you and you're such a terrific quit buddy to us. You've worked hard to get those 70 days & I must say, are a great example to us! And Kate's coming up on 60 days, wooohooo! Will give an early congrats as I'll be off the board for a few days (halleluyah, eh!). Hey NoMoreCig, Deli, Leolibra, Phil, Grace and Mary (yep, I know you're out there. glad that you are too. jump into our thread anytime you feel like it) - whatta ya say we throw a costume party this week for Sillyme & Kate? Now poised in front of the stage, Ericon climbs up & is standing on the chair, coconut hat slightly askew . . . Could I have your attention please? as she waves wildly. A request please! Id like to make an announcement, the crowd quiets down some. (drum roll in the background as the Augustines move forward to hear) Please join me in welcoming LEOLIBRA to the Augustine thread! (wild cheers, applause, balloons popping and all around joyous sounds) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 62 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,171 Amount Saved: $449.5 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 23 Mins: 24 Seconds: 16

hello everyone, well I made it to 60 days today and feel great to have done this, still finding it hard but you would after 46 years smoking wouldn't you. Anyway I am totally determined to beat this damned addiction so however hard it is i will not have one more puff ever, younger people take note, the desire to stop smoking is always there so you may as well get on with it now because it will always be on your mind throughout the years, as it has been with me and all my smoking friends. It would be far better for you to do it now when it has done less harm, hopefully, than when you have been smoking a lifetime. On a more cheerful note, i am feeling so much fitter since i stopped smoking and can walk up hills with no problem with breathing and i certainly couldn't do that when i smoked, so it's never to late.Cheers everyone.Mary My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 60 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,821 Amount Saved: 240 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 4 Mins: 49 Seconds: 13
