Sue, I did a google search on cigaffeine. Its primary ingredient is green tea (caffeine). It also contains meta-bromine, a stimulant which is also in chocolate and cocoa. So that could explain why you are feeling like you are getting too much caffeine. However, please know that the main ingredient in any quit is your own firm determination. Don't light a cigarette...you'll be a quitter! Welcome aboard Sue! I was a patch wearer, too, and found it helped enormously through those first few weeks of craves. BTW, I found that the patch first thing in the morning would give me a strange, light-headed sensation as the nicotine was being delivered that I can only describe as a "rushing in my ears." It would come and go throughout the day but I learned to live with it. Keep in mind that nicotine, caffeine and sugar are all stimulants and the combo platter could be, well, stimulating! Best of luck to you. Slow and steady wins the race! luna My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/28/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 787 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 15,758 Amount Saved: $3935 Life Gained: Days: 88 Hrs: 15 Mins: 25 Seconds: 10
