When you quit did you...........

Sabina.....what you are putting up with is the "junky" that resides within. he realizes that you just may mean business....he has to kick and scream and whack on you....he must destroy those thoughts of choosing to not smoke. quitting is about making that "choice" and getting in control. personally, I had an awful time quitting.....cutting back and setting dates just didn't work for me. One night I upended an ashtray right here into my keyboard, I exploded, tore through the house destroying cigarettes, pitching lighters, washing and dumping ashtrays. Was I scared?? I guess so, but I was madder than I was scared.....I nursed that anger for a few days and let it keep me in control.....(control of not smoking anyway) I worked hard to avoid smoking and smoking situations. Gradually I began to see that I COULD say no!! whooie...what an eye opener! I think I had thought for a long time that I "couldn't" quit!! I am here to tell you that ANYone can quit!! some have tougher goes than others, but we all CAN do it! destroy the smokes....get on the wagon....buckle up for the ride....and then RIDE IT!
