I have had a bit of a spluttering start to this quit. Very much the same as the last time I quit. Laser therapy on Thursday, then bought a pack after work on Friday - had 3 threw them away. Bought a pack on Saturday, smoked a few more. Threw the pack away and made my commitment. This morning was a little rough with constant throughts and desires, but when I made the decision not to leave the house (for fear of buying) I really started to fell better.
So here I am 4 hours short of 24 hours smoke free and I am feeling pretty good. Chewing on stir sticks, drinking lots of water and thinking the whole thing through - over and over, and over and over, and over...
Five minutes at a time, I will do what I have to do to be quit.
Except I will not be taking any cash or cards with me for the next few days. Some Lady taught me that last time.
It's a choice!
