using nicotine to solve problems is merely feeding the addiction. nothing more nothing less life's problems really have nothing to do with it....smoking is to stop the craving and the craving comes from being addicted. Everyday stress depletes nicotine levels more quickly, therefor we teach ourselves that smoking relieves the stress. so even after quitting and ridding our bodies of the dreaded drug....well, a stressful situation once again makes you think of the old "friend".....squash the thoughts....they are lies. katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1688 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 67,535 Amount Saved: $9621.6 Life Gained: Days: 220 Hrs: 5 Mins: 26 Seconds: 9
