Good morning Kate. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Not sure if you remember me, but I have been following your last quit as with others and being so mad at myself for giving in to those darn cigs. I finally read Allen Carr's book and things seem to have turned around for me, at least for today. At least this time my husband isn't catching all the verbal abuse. :p Anyway hope to see you back here soon. kate... your buddy passing away isn't a good excuse to smoke. You could have a heart attack, or get lung cancer, or have stroke or a million and one other things that smoking causes. Smoking kills. Morn your friend but don't give up so easily on your quit. You said yourself that smoking wont bring him back. You are right. If you allow it, there will always be a reason to smoke, always a better time to quit, and always an excuse to start back up. I am sorry for your loss but I am even more sorry to hear of our loss of you back the addiction and the enslavement of smoking. Get back on the wagon. Life is too short as it is.
