Great attitude! You are well on your way! All those nasty side effects will lessen over time. They suck but it's your body healing! Hi, had enough. Congrats on 7 days smoke-free. You've beaten hell week! How awesome is that? :) When we quit smoking we often start looking much more closely at ourselves than we've ever done and we start seeing a lot of little things we never noticed before. Throw in the emotional instability that comes from withdrawals and you've pretty much got the recipe for hypocondria. All the little things we never paid any attention to before are now big things that need immediate attention! :8o: Now I'm not saying to ignore it all. Sometimes smoking masks symptoms of legitimate medical problems that need attention. If anything worries you, seems worse than it should, or persists longer than you expect, then you should certainly play it safe and see your doctor about it. All I'm saying is to try to not dwell on every little thing and to give stuff a few days to pass. Keep up the good quit, had enough. You're doing great! :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 429 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,591 Amount Saved: $1630.2 Life Gained: Days: 80 Hrs: 1 Mins: 53 Seconds: 57
