Stuff happens. Whoever handed you the cig, you need to let them know that they did you no favor. I swear, smokers HATE to see people quit! The next time you are out with your "friends", make it quite, quite clear that no matter how much you may drink, or beg for a smoke while being intoxicated, they are NOT TO GIVE YOU ANY!
Of course, the best way to avoid that is to avoid those situations... at least until you know that you will never give in. That may take a year... or more. Being quit is so worth the small sacrifice.
