MistyMoon, Congratulations on your quit! That was the best thing you have done with a pack of cancer sticks in 21 years!!! Way to go!! By the way, direct your anger and bitterness at the cigarettes that have kept you addicted to them for so long. You have finally awakened to the truth and many feel angry when they first quit. Don't let the anger eat you up inside. Realize the source of the anger... your newfound knowledge of how the smokes have been secretly killing you for so long. When you have accepted that "to quit" is truly "to live" your anger will dissipate and you will move forward with your life without any longing for your "other" life. Say good bye to the old Misty and hello to the new, smarter, smoke free Misty. :) Best wishes. Be Strong. Be Smart. Good for you, MistyMoon. :) Stomped them, kicked them, and ran over them for good measure. Good focus for your anger. Keep up the good quit. ;) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 425 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,508 Amount Saved: $1615 Life Gained: Days: 79 Hrs: 7 Mins: 18 Seconds: 48

I'm sure that in my smoking days I would have kept them. How addicted is that? That's a great story and reminds me of a guy who used to be on here -- he found a pack in his truck and laid them on the ground and shot them to pieces with his gun!
