Ask your partner if he would he take a recovering alcoholic to a brewery ? If you're anything like me i suffered anxiety before & after i stopped smoking, i tracked it down to drinking to much coffee, taking on to much work & not being able to say no. perhaps similar ?, sounds like the party thing is upsetting you, perhaps causing most of the anxiety. be strong.
