    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Well I am starting another day without cigs. Today is also my Birthday and looking forward to my gift of no cigs. Sounds crazy, but all I want is to get rid of this monster once and forever. It was about 50 yeas ago that I tried my first cig. Kinda scarery isn't it? When I first tried to quit three years ago my husband put his down and never has had one since. Sometime I just want to scream because it was so easy for him. He has been such a trooper in watching me quit and start and so on. He says he will do whatever he can, but the quit is my choice and he has no control over what I do with it. He is so right the choice is mine and what I do with it. So to-day my choice is to be smoke free and let the monster die. Hope everyone is having a great day and thanks to all that replied yesterday. I am going for a walk. Congratulations Sparking in your decision to take your life back from the enslavement of smoking. You are so right when you say it is a choice. You choose not to smoke. Take it one step at a time and ask for help when you need it. There is a lot of useful information in the forums below this one so be sure to check out the other areas of the site. Walking is an excellent way to avoid the craves. Keep going, you are doing great!
