I know this is hard, niks. Having to isolate yourself from your friends on top of giving up smoking is rough.
You have to keep in mind that what you are doing is ultimately for the greater good for you and those around you. Perhaps you could stay in touch over the phone? I know that's a lame suggestion, but at least it would be something.
The day will come when you can be around them again. When that time comes, you will become an example to them of what freedom from the addiction is. Who knows, perhaps some will decide to quit, too. Personally, regardless of what they say, I've never known an smoker who truly wanted to remain one.
Stay strong, niks. Protect your quit. Holler for help when you need it. :)
