Mookie, sorry to hear about your relapse.
You're going through a lot right now and I'm sure the demon is really taking advantage of it. But you have to remember that smoking is not going to change anything. It won't speed up the time to the surgery, it won't make your loved one any more comfortable, it won't make the medical community respond any more favorably. It won't do anything except feed the addiction, instill feelings of guilt (you really don't need those right now), and just make everything generally worse for [u]you[/u].
Forget the slip and let's go forward from here.
