Keeping my mind free

Hello all, new here :D I have quit before, for three months, and silly me, I started back up. I always felt I needed something to smoke, its just unnatural to me. I quit before by staying on the computer and burying myself into building a website. This time around, it doesnt help. I am around two other smokers daily as well. I have tried the gum, which made me want a cig more. Is there any alternatives you have used that help? Its 5 am, and I am about to go to 7-11 to pick up gum, hard candies, anything to try and substitute for cigs. Im still decently young, and have been wanting to quit again. Ive even tried smoking nearly nicotine free cigs (Quest Level 3). I thought if the low nicotine couldnt help, the horrible taste would. Didnt. Thanks, here's to giving up the sticks.

ice water seems to help a lot, especially if you can buy a sports bottle, (the ones that have the top that you suck on). That really is a big help to me. love Mama My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 575 Amount Saved: $79.8 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 12 Mins: 33 Seconds: 17

I remember reading in a thread where someone had bought the cinnamon toothpicks to help with the cravings. I am on the patch and I have been lucky so far. I haven't had the cravings. More so mine is the habit of not having one after I do something. After cleaning the house, a task, etc. So I am missing that part of my habit.
